New iPhone Production Will Begin in July

25 Apr 2014

Japanese publication EMSOne reports that Apple will begin production of a new iPhone model with a bigger screen in July of this year. The rumored iPhone 6 will reportedly have a 4.7 inch screen, considerably larger than the current iPhone 5S. Other sources report that there will eventually be a 5.5-inch iPhone that will go into production sometime after the fall.

This new news confirms a recent article from Reuters that Apple may even start producing the next generation iPhone in May. Apple’s competitors already produce large-screen phones. For instance, the Ssamsung Galaxy  S5 has a 5.1 inch screen, while the HTC One has a 5-inch surface. These so-called phablets can even have 5.7 inch screens.
